Horticulturist — Wilson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Wilson County, Texas. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. You should have: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
