Groundskeeper — Apa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Apa, Benue State. You will be based in a botanical garden. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Rotating shifts.
