Great opportunity: meat cutter (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Oldham County, Texas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
