Furniture maker wanted in Darazo

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Darazo, Bauchi State. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
