Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Peterborough, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) On a typical shift you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains.
