What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Six days a week, one day off.
