Head baker wanted in Cameron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Cameron County, Texas. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
