Press operator — Freestone County

Join our team: we are hiring a press operator in Freestone County, Texas. You will work on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
