Wood machinist — Kane County

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Kane County, Illinois. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
