Horticulturist • Apapa, Lagos State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Apapa, Lagos State. You will work at a private estate garden. The role involves prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
