Punch press operator — Zaria

Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Zaria, Kaduna State. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
