Dozer operator — Derby

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Derby, England. What we are looking for: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin Overtime paid at a premium rate.
