Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in McLean County, Illinois. The job is on a quarry floor. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant On a typical shift you will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving.
