Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Shagamu, Ogun State. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Your main tasks: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
