Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
