Head butcher wanted in Worcester County

Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Worcester County, Massachusetts. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
