Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Menard County, Texas. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day to day you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
