Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Putnam County, Illinois. You will work on a road construction project. On a typical shift you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 6+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
