Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Sharp County, Arkansas. The job is at a container port. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
