Brick and block layer • Mitchell County, Georgia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Mitchell County, Georgia. The role involves: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
