Immediate opening: finishing presser (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Trafford, England. You will work at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
