Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Jackson County, Iowa. The job is on a golf course. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
