Plant operator (dozer) — Mafa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Mafa, Borno State. You will work at a land-clearing site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site.
