Hand presser wanted in Sandwell

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Sandwell, England. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
