Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Ogun Waterside, Ogun State. Day-to-day duties: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
