Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Lander County, Nevada. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $230 per day plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
