Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Chippewa County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
