Now hiring: we are hiring a brick mason in Ikenne, Ogun State. You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
