Vacancy available: presser (Bayelsa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Brass, Bayelsa State. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Full-time, day shift.
