Crawler crane operator — Grimes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Grimes County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
