Prep cook — Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Jasper County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate You will monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
