We are recruiting: gas commissioning technician (Niger State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Gurara, Niger State. You will work in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
