Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Adams County, Ohio. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On a typical shift you will work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
