The role involves: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
