Plant operator • Orlu, Imo State

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Orlu, Imo State. You will work in an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise Day to day you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; check for underground cables and services before digging; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals.
