Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Frontier County, Nebraska. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
