Trainee butcher — Howard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Howard County, Texas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will season and marinate meat on request; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
