Baker — Akoko-Edo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Akoko-Edo, Edo. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. On the job you will handle: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Score the top of loaves before baking You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
