Join our team: we are hiring a kitchenhand in Saint Clair County, Illinois. The job is in a hotel kitchen. You should have: • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Your main tasks: • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
