Mobile crane operator — Muya

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Muya, Niger State. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
