Confectioner — Kaufman County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Kaufman County, Texas. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens You will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
