Milling machinist • Grant County, Oregon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Grant County, Oregon. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
