Milling machinist — Maiha

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Maiha, Adamawa State. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery Overtime paid at a premium rate.
