Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Albasu, Kano State. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing 6+ years on the tools preferred.
