Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Chambers County, Texas. You will work in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Six days a week, one day off.
