Great opportunity: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Deaf Smith County, Texas. Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Rotating shifts.
