Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Stanton County, Kansas. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Day to day you will spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site.
