Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Conwy, Wales. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
