Cnc production machinist — Montgomery County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Montgomery County, Texas. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
