Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Thomas County, Nebraska. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production.
